Bi-Metal Welded Edge Blades

Blades made with high speed steel cutting edges, electron beam welded to a tough alloy backing. Gives the user a strong, spring-tempered body with hard cutting tips securely welded to the body. Bi-Metal selection options:

M-42 Bi-Metal Blade
Higher cobalt content which gives a higher temperature tolerance range to the cutting edge and improves wear resistance. This premium blade is recommended for the medium to high alloy cutting and production cutting of solids.

M-30 Bi-Metal Blade This welded band has a high speed steel cutting edge for excellent shock resistance. This band is recommended for cutting structural steel, tubing and pipe, and other general cutting applications.

Carbon Steel Blades

Designed for light production and general cut-off work, these blades are available in two styles:

Hardback-Hardedge
This high carbon steel blade combines a fully hardened cutting edge with a specially heat-treated back which offers double the beam strength of a standard carbon steel blade. It is recommended for cutting light sections, low alloy non-ferrous metals, wood, and plastics.

Hard Edge-Flexback This high carbon blade has hardened teeth and a flexible back which helps resist fatigue. This blade is excellent for cutting non-ferrous metals and wood.

Carbide Tipped Blades

Carbide-Tipped band saw blades will cut materials formerly not possible to cut with a band saw. These bands offer users substantial reductions in the cost per cut, especially when cutting very hard or abrasive materials.

These bands are available in a variety of sizes and configurations. Please call Saws International for recommendations regarding your specific application.
