Heat Treating
The Saws International fully automatic, controlled atmospere heat treatment furnace, together with the automatic handling/clamping/annealing cycle, assures the blanks are perfectly flat after the hardening process.

Precision Machining
Starting with the laser that cuts the blanks, and continuing through the hollow grinding and toothing processes, every step of the manufacturing process is controlled by computer. As a result, the O.D. runout is held to a minimum, the sides are ground uniformly and the side runout is below the European DIN standard requirements. This produces consistency blade after blade, which means that every saw in your shop should produce the quality cut you need.

Why Saws International blades?

Our Segmental saw blades are produced from the highest grade of M-2 or M-35 steel, heat treated to 63/65 hardness Rc.

Our design incorporates a tongue-in-groove style fit. All segments are produced to give a precise fit on new blades, while enabling ease of damaged segment replacement. The segments are fastened by four base rivets and two aligning rivets which allows the blade to perform to its maximum efficiency, providing exceptional finish and tool life. Bodies are made of chrome vanadium steel. Saws International Rockford, IL base is one of only two places in North America that can completely resegment a blade, offering you savings of 10% to 15% over the cost of a new blade.
